I hope you're doing well :)

Here am I to tell you all about the changes and tweaks in our Club!

First off, remember we're accepting general submissions. You'll find moar info in the FAQ's.

Second and IMPORTANT! We're gonna start our very own Critique Originals Section!
To do this, I need your involvement.
I'm gonna build the section in which every member can send one original photograph to be critiqued by all of us.

How do we critique, and basing our points on what?
Originality
There're many photographs very, very well done technically speaking; what we're looking for here is the originality which the photos have been taken with, the originality the subject has been chosen with, the impact they evoke in you... All those things you know well.
Don't worry if you don't know! Guidelines will be created as well.

The purpose of this entry is to, basically, talk about the purpose of our Club, CallMeOriginal, so please, give it a read.

We're loving all your submissions, and we thank you for the support, but we sometimes feel it's not clear enough what we are here for.

Yes, we're a Club of photography, but not only that, we're a Club of Original Photography, which is a term that goes beyond! (it's cooler ).

We receive many photographs, and unfortunately, we can't accept all of them. However, we're being very permissive to try to give you all the chance to expose yourself.
This leads us to a confrontation because the because to start this Club was to find the original photographs still unknown (and the well known ones), and to learn with and through them, and sometimes we're sent ordinary pictures (NOTE: This doesn't mean we think these photographs are not good, OF COURSE! We love the stuff you guys send us, but it goes against our intention) not knowing wheter to accept it or not (2nd NOTE: Please, do not feel pointed with the finger, we're not pointing a specific person, it's a generalization, don't feel included if you don't have to).

So, what do we do? Do we restrict the submissions to the most original photographs, or do we keep being permissive? That's the question. And as a personal thought, we shouldn't go out of the way of our purpose, should we?

It can be an old or new picture (even though we prefer the ones done with the purpose in mind ).
